Chris Evans Trolled Chris Pratt And Star-Lord For His Birthday

One of the unexpected and fun byproducts of the comic book movie age is the camaraderie between the various actors who play superheroes, and their hilarious off-screen interactions. This is especially true for the MCU's collection of Chrises: Chris Evans, Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth. The three actors have a fun dynamic of mutual respect and constant ribbing that is endlessly entertaining. A recent example of this is came on Chris Pratt's birthday. Chris Evans sought to offer some well wishes to the Star-Lord actor with a healthy dose of trolling. Check it out:

Cursing, potty humor and puns. I guess his time as a fugitive really has changed Captain America, because this is not the family friendly hero we once knew. Instead, it's the real Chris Evans at play, with a brilliant way to wish his friend Chris Pratt a Happy Birthday and troll him at the same time. Why there is a Star-Lord fire hydrant is beyond me, but it's possibly in Pinewood Atlanta Studios. So unless Chris Evans is there now, that means he has been saving this photo for just the right occasion, probably giddy with excitement to use it to troll Star-Lord on his birthday. I love that the sign warns dogs to stay away, as if a dog would see a hydrant and just ignore it. That would be like Star-Lord not attacking Thanos at an inopportune time (too soon?).

Everyone knows that dogs are great readers of signs, so it is fortunate that Chris Evans' dog doesn't give a damn in this photo. While Chris Pratt was getting showered with affection for his birthday, he wasn't too fond of the lack of sign-following going on here. Peter Quill responded to the desecration of his monument on Twitter, saying:

You'll be hearing from my lawyer.

Maybe Matt Murdock can serve as a mediator on the case, with Cosmo the Spacedog acting as a translator. This is just the latest amusing chapter between the two MCU stars, and it really adds to the desire to see these two onscreen together. We didn't see Captain America and Star-Lord meet up in Avengers: Infinity War, the movie did feature the first meeting between Thor and Star-Lord in an absolutely hilarious scene. Maybe Avengers 4 will see Star-Lord resurrected along with all of the other fallen heroes and the three pillars of Chris-endom (or the Counsel of Chrises if you prefer) can be united onscreen in a great meta moment.

We'll have to see what happens when Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019. Keep an eye on our guide for everything from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and for all the latest in puns and potty humor, stay tuned to CinemaBlend.
